Founded in 2010
Our success story
When Olivier Dupuis founded LIGNA systems in 2010, he was looking for a solution for his father’s business. The family business was getting bigger, and the construction of a warehouse was essential. As a timber company, it was obvious to build a hall in the same material.
However, his search for a suitable solution and an experienced company proved difficult. After several discussions with architects and contractors, he finally decided to take charge of the construction himself. And so LIGNA systems was born, with its modular construction method for load-bearing timber structures.
Since then, LIGNA systems has grown into a globally active company, establishing itself as a forerunner in the field of timber construction.
In 2023, we founded LIGNA systems Inc. after contractor Jason Smith discovered LIGNA systems online, was convinced by modular construction and proposed expanding into Canada. In 2024, we will build a branch in Stanstead with offices and a pre-assembly hall, followed by a production plant in 2025.
